Biography

Adrian Niles Band has been playing music around these parts for twenty years. Pittsburgh, Wheeling ... Points in between. Destinations far. Most times it's been like this... Rust and dirt, smoky clubs, fire code breaking and half empty bars. "I've written what I've seen, played what I've felt... Turned my cheek then got knocked flat",Confessed Niles. "Somehow you get back up, begin the reinvention process. During the down times I've worked at getting better or making it more simple, sometimes they're one in the same.

I used to think I was a poet, a romantic, someone who was going somewhere else... That was years ago. I found that the somewhere I had envisioned was no place at all. As it turns out everything was right here, greed, turmoil, deceit, faith, happiness, love, wealth, poverty, a life for livin'. What more could a man want"? Since 1998 I have released three full length C.D.'s. The first record was called "Manumit"; while promoting we were invited to perform on Pittsburgh's WDVE 102.5 FM Morning Show w/ Jim & Randy...Twice! Then, in 2007 I co-fronted The Trainjumpers and Released "Deadtown", the title track got quite a bit of air-play and earned the # 42 out of 100 songs for 2007 on local Clear Channel radio station Eagle 107.5 FM.

I left the band that summer and starting recording my third record "Things Gonna Break", of which I produced, recorded. I've won contests on Beale Street in Memphis, I've been the supporting act for classic rock icons (such as Ben Orr from The Cars and Jefferson Starship), toured value city department stores, performed at blues and bluegrass festivals, street fairs, I've done live radio and television, but none of that means anything now. Eventually, you learn to re-adjust your focus and look intently towards tomorrow. The latest record is entitled 'Ghost Road'. With extremely talented and veteran musicians Clint Landis on drums and Matt Penhos on Bass this latest work harkens back to the rock sounds of the late 90's ANB
