Terri Lisa was born in Anderson, Indiana, just north of Indianapolis. She was the middle child of 7 children. Her roots are deeply founded in country music. Her Grandfather sang and played steel guitar all over Indiana. Her mother, Margaret, learned to play and sing and later began writing songs.

Margaret began teaching Terri to sing harmony when she was just able to talk. Later, she sang and performed throughout her years of growing up at church and school functions.

Terri Lisa performed with the popular gospel group, "The Kings Heirs," throughout Northern Indiana. She started a variety group in the mid-90's called, "Joyful Noise," featuring gospel, country, 50/60's and pop music. In 1998 they were asked to perform at a huge RV rally in Central Indiana. It was here that she met and eventually married singer/songwriter David Church.

Terri Lisa's influence include Karen Carpenter, Anne Murray, Patsy Cline, and more. In 2004, she put together a Patsy Cline tribute that she has performed at numerous casino's and theaters across the country.

In 2005, David and Terri performed on RFD-TV's popular show, "Midwest Country." In September 2006, Terri Lisa was asked to perform her Patsy Cline Tribute at the NTCMA Festival in Missouri Valley, IA. Legendary musician Jim McCoy was present for her performance. Jim was friends with Patsy and was attributed with helping her get her start. He also performed with her and remains friends with Charlie Dick, Patsy's husband. Jim stated that Terri Lisa, "looked as much like Patsy as anyone I have ever met!" Her performance was met with standing ovations!

Bob Everhart, president of the NTCMA, stated, "It is indeed my pleasure to inform anyone who likes traditional country music that the David & Lisa Church musical presentations are a double whammy of the best traditional country music available today. Lisa does a tribute to Patsy Cline that not only sounds like Patsy, she looks like Patsy. We heard her on our main stage for the first time this year. We were astonished at her presentation. The standing ovations from our audience verifies this."

In addition to Patsy Cline, Terri Lisa performs originals and cover songs from Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Lynn Anderson, to today's country, from Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, and more.
